UPDATE: The single engine Piper PA 24 crashed shortly after takeoff
at Roosevelt Memorial Airport in Warm Springs, GA on June 26 at 2:15pm.　
The pilot and Dr. Madej were the only people on board. The crash landed in a field
north of the airport after reporting engine trouble.

Dr. Carrie Madej who testified on behalf of Dr. Paul Gosselin has been involved
in a rpivate plane crash. She was in surgery.
Updates are coming in from mutual friends of Dr. Madej.

This was my plane I was flying in. Returning from FL after meeting with likeminded people 06/26/2022. The plane's engine stalls and no one can figure out why yet. We were gliding fine and then rpm drops to zero in seconds and we drop like a rock. Don't understand it. It is a miracle we are alive. I am still processing everything and my brain is foggy. I will fill you in later. I'm still in ICU in atlanta - but recovering well. oRIF of left lower leg, 5 vertebrae fractures (but they don't need surgery), bruised all over, and a nice shiner. The tibia fibula were clean cut and displaced so that the foot was facing 120 degrees in wrong direction. Lots of dry heaving by a couple paramedics. It took 30min to find us- I finally found a phone to pin our location . We were forced to crash into trees-however- Billy found a logger's trail that he followed so we didn't get major damage from the trees before crashing. That was another miracle in itself ! Then the WiFi goes out and the phone overheats. One thing after another. Finally heard voices on megaphones and I screamed "help" louder and longer than I ever have in my life. Billy has 20 years experience as a pilot and suffered skull fractures, facial fractures, T 10 fracture and he had LOC. No brain bleed thank God.
